Description
This project aims to help bridge the significant need for OSS in the Province of Bolzano, also considering that, with the constant increase in life expectancy, this shortage will only intensify in the coming years.
Through classroom training, practical training and all support activities, participants will develop the skills necessary to perform the duties of Social-Health Operator and will be able to successfully take the private candidate qualification exam at the “Levinas” Vocational School in Bolzano.
The training program will develop specific and practical skills on the following topics: legislation of social and health services, professional ethics, first aid, rehabilitation, psychology and communication with the patient, gerontopsychiatry and nutrition.
There will be a consolidation of knowledge through two separate training internships.
The program will also develop the skills needed to pass the bilingualism exam.
Target audience
The target audience of the training program is 8 people aged at least 17, who are in a situation of long-term unemployment or not employed (unemployed, jobless or workers below the minimum income), residing or domiciled in the Province of Bolzano.

They must also have a fitness certificate attesting to the absence of impairments or illnesses that may prevent them from performing the functions provided for by the professional profile of Social-Health Operator.
